Steeple Repair

Work has been completed on the repair of Faith Church’s steeple. The steeple was initially damaged after Hurricane Sandy, but has shown increasing signs of damage over the last few months. After months of trying to find a suitable company, we agreed to a contract with Precision Roofing for the repair, which was covered by our insurance.

Savannah’s Baptism

Congratulations to Craig and Valerie whose baby daughter Savannah was baptized on June 14. It was a great day and the sanctuary was filled with many guests who came to witness the occasion. Our prayer is that Savannah will bring much joy to her family as she grows up in the Lord Jesus.

Silas Gets Baptized

Baby Silas is Born

Congratulations to Megan and Rich who’s baby boy Silas William was born on the morning of November 25. Silas weighs 7 pounds and 6 ounces and is 20 inches long. According to Megan’s Facebook page, everyone is doing great.
Congratulations also to the proud grandparents Grace and Steve White.

New Consistory Members

On Sunday, October 12, four members were added to the Consistory. Linda was ordained and installed as Deacon, Tammy installed as Deacon, and Jeff and Roy were installed as Elders. We thank God for them and their willingness to serve in these important offices at Faith Church. We look forward to their ministry and pray that God will bless their efforts.

Family, Friends and Neighbors Day

On October 19, Faith Church will be holding another Family, Friends and Neighbors Day. We encourage everyone to personally invite someone to our service, which is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. This is an ideal opportunity to introduce someone to the our exciting church and friendly fellowship.

On the same day we will be celebrating the fact that we are better together. We therefore encourage all our members and friends to make a special effort to attend worship on the 19th. We want to make it a big day and thank God for the blessings of belonging to his family at Faith Church.


Show Your Love

“Let’s not just talk about love; let’s practice real love.” 1 John 3:18 (MSG)

The challenge for all of us this fall is to not just talk about love, but to show our love for God, for Faith Church and for each other.

We want to encourage you to *show your love for God* by attending worship faithfully. Worship is a place where we come together to express our love for God. But also to show your love for God by every day spending time with him through reading your Bible and prayer. This will keep you strong in your faith and help you grow spiritually.
